Dotson Schaefer is an up and coming Texas Country artist, drawing from folk, rock and country to mold his sound. His Arkansas roots are the main source of his methodical lyrics, combined with his current Texas residency.

‘Cove Creek’ was a song he wanted minimalistic and full of ambience. Notes of Chris Stapleton can be felt in the song’s warm tones as he sings in a lonesome fashion about a creek near where he grew up and the way it calls to him during heartbreak.
